The objective of the 2021 proficiency test was to assess the competency of participants to detect the bacteria Vibrio aestuarianus by PCR.
The test included a set of 24 samples of genomic DNA of Pacific oyster C. gigas.
Samples were sent mid-May 2021. Participants had one month to report their results.
13 EU laboratories participated in this ILC test. The report was sent in July 2021 and is available under the NRLs' section.
